Zorrab is the Arabic Zorro. Noty Aroz created him as a response to the terrorist attacks that we’ve been threw in France back in 2015. Over there, and in many occidental countries, people with Arabic origins suffer for discrimination.
We wanted to produce an Arabic Hero. A southern Robin Hood in the name of oppressed people.
The character of Zorro, created in 1919 and considered as one of the fathers of all the modern superheros, personifies this goodwill.
Zorrab is the first mask of the Mytholologeny having real eyes. Because, to avoid the amalgam, he is not a Muslim god, so he has a face. Zorrab is a human being first and foremost. He embodies unification, and - as it is wrote
in Arabic calligraphy on his hat – love and peace.
